Elmeri Utriainen (b. 2007) began his piano studies at the Juvenalia Music Institute in 2014 under the guidance of Outi Vainiomäki. Since 2022, his teacher has been Kari Tikkala. At the music institute, Elmeri is currently completing his advanced studies as part of the comprehensive music curriculum. Starting in the fall of 2024, Elmeri will also be studying at Youth Piano Academy Finland.
During middle school, Elmeri was in a music-focused class, and he is now in his second year at Tapiola Upper Secondary School attending a class specializing in music. In 2021, he was awarded in the second category of the Tapiola Youth Piano Competition. Elmeri considers his performance at the Youth Chopin event, Helsinki, Finland in 2022 to be significant for him. Additionally, he has participated in performances with the orchestras of Juvenalia and Tapiola Upper Secondary School, as well as with the Juvenalia Big Rock Band, playing both piano and keyboard. Elmeri has attended masterclasses by Konstantin Bogino and Antti Hotti and received private lessons from Katarina Nummi-Kuisma.
