Gennadii Tinovitskii's musical studies started at the age of five in Moscow at the preschool of the Gnessin Music School. Since 2017 Gennadii has studied piano at the Joensuu Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Tuulikki Lehtinen. At the conservatory he has completed advanced studies and is currently studying in Vocational Education in Music, Upper Secondary Level.
Gennadii was accepted to the Youth Piano Academy Finland program in October 2025.
In 2024 Gennadii shared the first prize in age group 13-16 years at the X Kuopio Piano Competition with Atte Kohtala from Savonlinna.
In spring 2023 Gennadii played at Joensuu City orchestra´s Young Soloist concert Sugar: Rondo, and 2025 spring Shostakovich: Second Piano Concerto´s first movement.
Gennadii has participated in masterclasses of Paavali Jumppanen, Niklas Pokki , Roland Krüger, Teppo Koivisto, Antti Hotti, Matti Raekallio, Andreas Frölich, Mei Yi Foo, Massimiliano Ferrati, Murray McLachlan, Andrea Bonatta, Alexander Kobrin, Johan Fröst and Ivari Ilja.
In 2024 Gennadii was awarded the Pro Musica Foundation scholarship and 2025 Pertti Parmio Stipend.
