Ella Oksava (born 2007) is studying piano at The Helsinki Conservatory of Music with Antti Hotti as her teacher. Prior to The Helsinki Conservatory, Ella studied piano at The East Helsinki Music Institute with Leena Nikula and Kristiina Junttu as her teachers.
Ella has been awarded in several music competitions: Tapiola Piano Competitions in 2021, 2019, 2017 and 2015, Leevi Madetoja Piano Competitions in 2022 and 2018, Helsinki Steinway Festival in 2016 and Ilmari Hannikainen chamber music competition 2023. She has also participated in the following competitions: Stockholms International Music Competition in 2019, Helsinki Steinway Festival in 2018, Tartu Young Musician in 2017. She has performed as a soloist with Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra in 2018.
During master classes Ella has been taught by among other things Tuija Hakkila, Janne Mertanen, Henri Sigfridsson, Johan Fröst, Severin von Eckardstein and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. In addition to the Youth Piano academy periods, she has participated in the master classes organized by the Raudaskylä Soiva Kesä and the Nurmes Summer academy.
